Our comprehensive Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy guides how we keep children safe across all our ministries. It covers training for staff, volunteers, church members and parents in recognising and preventing all forms of abuse, along with clear strategies for minimising risk
The policy also gives our staff and volunteers clear guidance on promoting the care and safety of children, and on responding to any concern of abuse or neglect in a consistent and effective way.
We work closely with government agencies on Working with Children Checks, child safety training, and any situation where abuse is disclosed or suspected. The policy is reviewed regularly to stay in line with state and national legislation
